The person behind the bench
Hi, I'm Jack.
My first computer was a TRS-80, and I've been building, repairing, and learning computer systems ever since. I later served as an F-15E avionics technician in the U.S. Air Force, where careful troubleshooting, clear procedures, and accountability were part of the job.
Bench & Order is my owner-operated technology service for Frederick residents, independent professionals, and small businesses. When you call, email, or request service, you reach the same person who will assess the problem, perform the work, and explain the results. You're never handed from salesperson to dispatcher to technician.
I provide practical technology support for people who want a reliable local expert they can call again. Whether it's repairing a Windows PC, improving a network, building a website, recovering important files, or implementing private AI tools, my goal is always the same. Solve the problem clearly and honestly.
